Job summary

Applied Medical Technology seeks a Corporate Counsel to support a broad range of corporate matters under the Assistant General Counsel. This entry-level role is designed for a newly licensed attorney or up to 2 years of experience, working closely with AMT leadership to identify legal risks and provide practical business-focused advice.

You will draft and negotiate commercial agreements, assist with compliance, and contribute to training and cross-functional projects.

Qualifications

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and Ohio bar license.
0–2 years in-house counsel experience or internship in a corporate legal department.
Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
Experience using legal research platforms such as Lexis+.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, and manage commercial agreements (NDAs, vendor, sales, and distribution).
Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on business issues.
Provide legal support across departments (employment, IP, international, etc.).
Support litigation management with outside counsel and document gathering.
Develop and deliver employee training on legal and compliance topics.
Monitor regulatory changes and participate in cross-functional projects.
Perform other legal responsibilities as assigned.
