Description
The OPO In-House Coordinator supports the mission, vision and values of SFDN by developing and maintaining a positive donation culture within the assigned hospital(s). The role establishes effective systems for donation by developing and maintaining relationships with key hospital partners, coordinating, and implementing educational opportunities. The IHC is also responsible for the clinical evaluation of potential donor patients and the collaboration with hospital staff in preservation of donation options. This position is required to be available nights, weekends and holidays to meet organizational needs and ensure proper coverage.
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four‑year college or university, or a combined total of 5 years’ education and experience in healthcare, marketing, or related field.
A minimum of 2 years of OPO or healthcare experience preferred. Able to interpret and synthesize clinical information from medical charts. Experience in public speaking, sales/marketing, data analysis, and/or strategic planning will be considered.
