Cargolux Airlines International in Houston, Texas seeks a Customer Service Agent to handle rate and routing information, schedules, and bookings for air cargo customers. You will coordinate with Sales and Station/Regional teams, ensuring accurate data in both English and metric units, while supporting onward service needs.

Strong MS Office skills are essential; a driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport are required. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are provided.

Formación

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in sales and/or customer service.
• Knowledge and experience in air cargo sales and/or freight forwarding is a plus.
• Must be approved for an airport ID by government agencies.
• Must have a valid driver's license and ability to obtain a passport.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge in the air cargo industry.
• Demonstrate pleasant, business-like conduct reflecting high standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
• Team-oriented yet capable of working independently.
• Be proactive and take initiative; be willing to learn and improve.

Responsabilidades

• Disseminates rate and routing information via phone and email.
• Finds schedules, rates, and trucking data to handle requests and follow-ups.
• Determines dimensional vs. actual weights; uses English and metric systems.
• Familiar with booking, ALERT, SPH, and LUX-reservations procedures.
• Undertakes other duties as directed by Sales or Station/Regional Manager.
