Job summary

Wellspring in Louisville is seeking a full-time In-Home Support Specialist to help adults build practical skills, confidence, and stability to live more independently at home and in the community.

The role goes beyond assistance, delivering treatment plan actions through skills training, cueing, supervision, and connection to community resources, with a focus on emotion regulation and crisis coping.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year of experience working with individuals who receive services for treatment of a mental health disorder.
• Experience in therapeutic behavioral intervention, accessing community resources, crisis coping, and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Help clients implement individualized treatment plans through skills training and cueing.
• Provide supervision and medication support as part of care.
• Connect clients to community resources and teach emotion regulation.
• Develop healthy interpersonal skills during visits.
