Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed in Speech Therapy in the state of residence.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides services within the scope of practice as defined by state law and the plan of care.
• Evaluates patient function and assists in therapy plan of care.
• Treats patients to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive impairments.
• Records patient responses and progress to supervising nurse or physician.
• Instructs patient, family, and caregivers in speech therapy interventions.
