You will work within state scope, collaborate with the health care team, educate patients and families, and adapt to flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of residence.
• Driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provides speech therapy within scope of practice per state laws and plan of care.
• Evaluates function and helps develop therapy plan with physician.
• Treats patients to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive goals.
• Observes and reports patient progress to supervising nurse or physician.
• Instructs patient, family, and caregiver in speech therapy areas.
• Functions with sensitivity to diverse patient backgrounds.
