Job summary

MSA Home Health in Greenville, SC is seeking a Part-Time Speech Therapist (SLP) to provide in-home speech therapy services to patients in Greenville, SC and surrounding areas.

You will evaluate, plan, and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders, under the physician’s plan of care, and maintain thorough documentation. The role requires a SC license, a year of experience, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology or related field.
• Active SC Speech Therapist license (required).
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable experience in speech therapy.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver speech-language pathology services according to the physician’s plan of care.
• Evaluate patients using appropriate assessments for speech, hearing, and language disorders.
• Assist the physician in developing and updating individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress, and communicate changes to the physician and care team.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and team members on speech therapy strategies and exercises.
• Recommend further audiological testing when appropriate.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
