The role requires 1 year of home health experience, ASHA-credentialed education, strong communication, independence, and reliable transportation. You will document progress and participate in staff meetings and trainings.

Qualificações

• Current license to practice Speech Therapy in Texas.
• Graduate of an ASHA-accredited program or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of home health experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Current driver's license with current automobile insurance.

Responsabilidades

• Conducts patient assessments and assists in evaluating function.
• Develops and updates the Plan of Care with the physician.
• Performs home visits in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide skilled speech-language therapy for language impairments, dysphagia, and related disorders in the home setting.
• Treats patients to improve communication using therapy techniques and tools.
• Document patient progress and report changes to the physician.
• Participate in staff conferences and in-services as required.
