Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide in-home evaluation and treatment of speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing disorders. You will collaborate with patients, families, and the inter-disciplinary team to improve communication, safety, independence, and quality of life.

Responsibilities include prevention, assessment, diagnosis and treatment of related disorders in adults, providing aural rehabilitation and AAC systems, and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the assigned state.
• Current CCC-SLP certification with graduate program accredited by CAA.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for evaluating and treating speech, language, cognition and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provides aural rehabilitation for deaf/Hard-of-hearing and AAC systems as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
