Job summary

Amedisys, part of the Optum family, offers in-home speech-language pathology evaluation and treatment for adults to improve communication, safety, independence, and quality of life. You will work with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team in a home-based setting.

Responsibilities include assessment and treatment of speech, language, voice, swallowing, and cognitive disorders, plus collaboration with caregivers to support personalized care at home.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology.
• Current CCC-SLP certification with practicum from an accredited program.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation and AAC systems for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.
• Other duties as assigned.
