Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for in-home services in North Bergen, NJ, serving Hudson County. This per diem role offers flexibility, autonomy, and meaningful one-on-one patient care in clients' homes.

Ideal candidates hold an active NJ license; CCC-SLP is preferred; home health experience is beneficial but not required. You will work with a supportive multidisciplinary team using tablet-based documentation.

Qualifications

• Active NJ Speech Language Pathologist license required.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred.
• Home health experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Familiar with electronic documentation/EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home speech therapy evaluations and treatments for adult and geriatric clients.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and care teams.
• Modify care plans as patient needs evolve.
• Educate patients and caregivers to promote safety and independence.
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Complete timely electronic documentation using a tablet-based EMR system.
