Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in North Bergen, NJ is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our per diem Home Health team serving adult and geriatric clients in Hudson County.

You will perform in-home evaluations and treatments, develop plans with physicians, educate patients and caregivers, and document care using tablet-based EMR.

Qualifications

• Current NJ Speech Language Pathologist license required.
• CCC-SLP preferred.
• Home health experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Comfortable with electronic documentation/EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home speech therapy evaluations and treatments for adult and geriatric clients.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and care teams.
• Modify care plans as patient needs evolve.
• Educate patients and caregivers to promote safety, independence, and improved quality of life.
• Collaborate closely with nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Complete timely electronic documentation using a tablet-based EMR system.

North Bergen, NJ | Serving Hudson County

We are currently seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our growing team on a per diem basis supporting adult and geriatric clients throughout Hudson County, NJ.

What You’ll Do

As a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist, you will:

Additional Information:

Base Pay, depending upon qualifications and subject to negotiation:

$65.00 - $75.00 per point
