Job summary

Tutor Me Education is seeking an In-Home Special Education Tutor to deliver personalized 1:1 instruction and socio-emotional support in students' California homes.

This flexible, part-time W-2 role starts with 2–10 hours/week, with room to grow, and offers premium rates for bilingual or credentialed tutors.

Requirements include BA or higher in Special Education, Psychology, or Education, experience with ASD/ADHD/Dyslexia, willingness to travel locally, and ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• BA/BA or higher in Special Education, Psychology, or Education.
• Experience supporting students with special needs (ASD/ADHD/Dyslexia).
• Background check required.
• Ability to travel to client homes.

Responsibilities

• Lead 1:1 sessions tailored to students with diverse learning needs.
• Implement lesson plans aligned to each student’s IEP goals with team support.
• Adapt academic materials to each student’s learning profile.
• Track progress and communicate with parents/guardians.
• Foster a safe, inclusive environment to build confidence.
