Job summary

Accredo Specialty Pharmacy is seeking a Specialty Infusion Field Nurse to deliver at-home care, administering IV/infusion therapies safely and coordinating with care teams in the Norfolk, VA area.

Active RN license in the state of practice is required. 1+ year in critical care or home health is expected, with 2+ years in hospital or home health preferred. Per diem schedule with travel within coverage area is offered.

Qualifications

• 1 year in critical care, acute care, or home healthcare.
• 2+ years RN experience in hospital or home health setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective administration of specialty medications (including IV infusion) in patients' homes.
• Partner with pharmacists and care teams to ensure holistic patient well-being.
• Document assessments, treatments, and progress to maintain accurate patient records.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for patient updates and care coordination.
• Demonstrate autonomy in clinical decision-making to achieve optimal outcomes.
