Job summary

FOX Rehabilitation is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to deliver one‑on‑one geriatric care in private residences and senior living communities in Fairfax, VA. You will assess, plan, and implement evidence‑based therapies to improve mobility, independence, and quality of life, with the autonomy to manage your schedule and treatment approach.

Qualifications

• Valid SLP license in the state of practice.
• Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• Current CPR certification and EMR proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one Speech Language Pathology to older adults in homes or senior living communities.
• Perform evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, and deliver evidence‑based treatment.
• Deliver therapy sessions that support wellness, mobility, and independence.
• Document in FOX’s EMR system in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of PTs, OTs, SLPs, and Fitness Specialists.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and staff to promote safety and aging in place.
• Provide telehealth/virtual care when appropriate to extend access.
