Job summary

Yale New Haven Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to perform comprehensive evaluations and rehabilitative care for inpatients and outpatients. You will write reports in the EMR and counsel patients and families on intervention plans.

Education includes a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology with CCC-SLP; CT licensure is required. Prior clinical experience, especially with diverse diagnoses, is preferred for this hospital-based role.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology with CCC-SLP certification.
• 1–2 years of clinical speech-language pathology experience preferred.
• Current CT license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

Responsibilities

• Interpret physician referrals to perform basic clinical evaluations.
• Provide patient and family education and document care in the EMR.
• Develop population-specific treatment programs and monitor progress.
• Maintain current records and reports; adjust goals based on patient response.
