Job summary

Golden Years In-Home Senior Care in Sacramento is seeking dedicated HCA caregivers to provide compassionate in-home care to seniors. Duties include personal care, light housekeeping, social activities, and progress reporting, in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications include current HCA registration with CDSS, bilingual English/Mandarin, a valid TB test, and ability to pass a background check. High school diploma or equivalent and prior caregiving experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a current Home Care Aide registered with the California Department of Social Services.
• Must be bilingual (English and Mandarin).
• Valid TB test (within the last 24 months).
• Able to pass a background check.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients, family members, and team members.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable, dependable, and punctual.
• Ability to lift and assist with transfers, if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance to senior clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance.
• Assist with light housekeeping duties such as laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
• Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote emotional well-being.
• Monitor and document client’s progress, any changes in condition, and report to supervisors as necessary.
• Assist with transfers, positioning, and mobility aids as needed.
• Offer companionship and ensure a positive, safe, and caring environment for each client.
