Job summary

Golden Years In-Home Senior Care is hiring an HCA caregiver in Sacramento, CA. The role includes personal care, light housekeeping, and companionship in clients’ homes. Must be a California-registered HCA, with a valid TB test and ability to pass a background check.

We offer flexible full-time or part-time schedules, ongoing training, and a supportive team environment to help seniors stay safe and comfortable at home.

Qualifications

• Must be a current Home Care Aide (HCA) registered with the California Department of Social Services.
• Valid TB test (within the last 24 months).
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance to senior clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, meal prep, and safe living environments.
• Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote emotional well-being.
• Monitor and document client progress; report changes to supervisors.
• Assist with transfers, positioning, and mobility aids as needed.
• Offer companionship and ensure a positive, safe environment for each client.
