Job summary

ComForCare Home Care in Milford, CT is hiring in-home caregivers to support seniors and adults in maintaining independence at home. We provide training, guidance, and a supportive team to help you succeed.

You will assist with bathing, grooming, meal prep, light housekeeping, medication reminders, companionship, and transportation as needed, while reporting changes to the care team. No prior experience required; willingness to learn and reliability are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience is not necessary; willingness to learn.
• We welcome Personal Care Assistants, Home Health Aides, or Certified Nursing Assistants.
• Reliable transportation for client visits.
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Candidates may be required to complete a background check per state regulations.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Must lift up to 25–50 lbs and assist with transfers.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Helping clients transfer and ambulate safely
• Meal preparation and assistance with feeding
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Medication reminders
• Companionship and conversation
• Transportation to appointments and errands (when applicable)
• Monitoring client well-being and reporting changes to the care team
