Job summary

AM WELL ASSISTANCE SOLUTIONS LLC in Maine seeks Personal Support Specialists to provide essential non-medical care to seniors and individuals with disabilities in clients' homes, helping them maintain independence and dignity.

You will perform ADLs, mobility support, light housekeeping, meal planning, companionship, transportation, and report changes to a supervisor. Certification and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Certification: Maine PSS Certification (or willingness to complete training).
• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and active auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care: Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene.
• Mobility Support: Help with walking, transfers, and fall prevention.
• Household Support: Light housekeeping including laundry, dishes, vacuuming, and tidying.
• Nutrition: Meal planning, grocery shopping, and healthy meal preparation.
• Companionship: Provide emotional support and engagement in social activities.
• Transportation: Escort to appointments and assist with errands.
• Reporting: Observe changes and report updates to the supervisor.
