Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse with ventilator management experience to care for adult patients in their own homes in Florida. The role emphasizes applying the nursing process, coordinating care, and adjusting plans as patient status evolves.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility RN contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in home-based settings.
• Initiates the plan of care and requests revisions as patient needs change.
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient goals.
• Intervenes for changes in patient condition and reports to physician or supervisor.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed and documents effectiveness.
• Reviews plan of care and program protocols to identify education and care coordination needs.
