Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Orlando is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide in-home care for pediatric and/or adult patients in Saint Cloud, FL. This full-time role requires ventilator experience and the ability to work in clients' homes.

You will utilize the nursing process to plan, monitor, and evaluate care, administer medications, and coordinate with families and physicians. A Florida RN license and current BLS are required, with opportunities for sign-on bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

Current RN license valid in the state of practice.
Current Health Certificate per facility RN contract or state regulation.
Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
Current BLS card.
One year of hands-on nursing experience.
Proficient in English.”

Responsibilities

Uses the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in home settings.
Initiates the plan of care and updates as patient needs change.
Performs therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on diagnoses and goals.
Responds to status changes and communicates with physician or supervisor.
Administers medications and treatments and documents effectiveness.
Reviews care plans and coordinates education, discharge planning, and care coordination.
