Job summary

Aveanna Healthcare in Texas is seeking Registered Nurses for day and night shifts in the Buda area to care for home-based patients. Multiple schedules and placement flexibility offer full-time, part-time, or PRN options with weekday/weekend coverage. Excellent benefits and 24/7 local support are included.

Qualified RNs maintain active licenses, CPR certification, and reliable transportation to provide high-quality, compassionate care and documentation in the patient’s home.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
• Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days.
• Current CPR certification.
• TB skin test within last 12 months.
• Six months hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate quality patient care per physician orders.
• Observe and assess patient condition and report changes to supervisor/physician.
• Document activities, assessments, nursing actions, and coordination of care promptly.
• Develop, implement and update the nursing care plan.
• Take appropriate nursing action based on assessment and outcomes.
• Educate patient and family regarding disease, self-care and prevention.
• Maintain knowledge of nursing competencies via ongoing education.
