Job summary

ORLANDO HEALTH – HEALTH CENTRAL HOSPITAL in Ocoee, FL seeks a compassionate RN to administer bedside patient care and coordinate treatment plans. The role emphasizes collaboration with the medical team, patient advocacy, and adherence to regulatory standards across life-span-focused care.

Qualified candidates will hold an approved nursing degree and Florida RN licensure, with BLS and additional certifications as required by unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Meets all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Orlando Health and unit/department.

Responsibilities

• Administers bedside patient care in a hospital/observation setting under supervision.
• Assesses patients’ needs and develops care plans; evaluates progress toward outcomes.
• Represents patient and family advocate; communicates with medical staff and interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrates growth/development understanding across lifespan; interprets data to meet age-specific needs.
• Coordinates patient care for defined groups and delegates tasks to team members.
• Documents patient care in a timely, accurate manner meeting regulatory standards.
