Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, Missouri is hiring a Respiratory Therapist Technician to join our Home Medical Equipment team. This role supports the in-home respiratory care program, guiding patients and families with compassionate, skilled service.

You will document care, assist with billing inquiries, coordinate home respiratory services, and train patients on HME equipment across diverse ages from neonate to geriatric.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent; training in accredited respiratory care program.
• Experience: One year in Respiratory Care field.
• Skills: Computer, Customer Service, Good communicator, Ability to solve problems over the phone.
• Licensure/Certification: Certified Respiratory Care Technician.
• Physical Requirements: Lift up to 25lbs, Navigate stairs comfortably.

Responsabilités

• Documenting respiratory care provided to patients.
• Answering general insurance questions, helping customers understand the billing of equipment, referring to billing staff as needed.
• Coordinating medically prescribed home respiratory care services.
• Performing services accurately, safely, and according to policy and procedures, utilizing equipment, supplies, and procedures appropriate to the ages of the patients served including neonate, infant, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations.
• Providing instruction and/or training in the use of Home Medical Equipment (HME) equipment to patients and customers.
• Fitting of equipment for patients.
