Job summary

CoxHealth in Missouri is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to assess patient respiratory equipment needs and select and troubleshoot appropriate devices and therapies. This role delivers care in home, hospital, clinic, or Home Support office, and creates care plans for respiratory care and disease management.

You will educate patients and caregivers on equipment use, work with a multidisciplinary team, and apply strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.
• Missouri Respiratory License and Class E Driver’s License within 30 days of hire (RRT credential required).
• Preferred: 2 years clinical and 1 year home care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient respiratory equipment needs and select and troubleshoot equipment and/or services.
• Instruct patients and caregivers on care and use of equipment, supplies, and therapies.
• Create care plans for respiratory care and disease management.
• Care provided in home, hospital, clinic or Home Support office.
