Qualifications

• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner/Respiratory Therapist credential or license as required by the state.
• Graduate of an accredited respiratory care/respiratory therapy program.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel to patients' homes and other healthcare facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services in patients’ homes, including delivery, set-up, instruction, and maintenance of equipment.
• Educate patients and caregivers on proper use, cleaning, maintenance, and safety of equipment.
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses, discharge planners, and other professionals to support continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and delivery records.
