Job summary

Advanceable ABA VA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for part-time, in-home ABA therapy in the Roanoke, VA area. Provide 1:1 services in the child’s home under BCBA supervision, focusing on communication, social, behavioral, and daily-living skills.

The role offers flexible afternoon/evening hours, paid training, PTO, and growth opportunities with BCBA mentorship and ongoing supervision. A valid RBT certification or path to certification is supported.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification or support to certification
• 1+ year experience with kids or individuals with special needs (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Strong communication, patience, and professionalism
• Ability to work in clients’ homes around Roanoke, VA area
• Part-time RBT positions available
• Afternoon and after-school sessions, Monday–Friday; weekends as needed
• 15-25+ hours per week depending on availability and client needs

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 in-home ABA therapy under BCBA supervision
• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans with children
• Help children develop communication, social, behavioral, play, and daily-living skills
• Use evidence-based ABA strategies and reinforcement techniques
• Track progress with session data and clinical notes
• Communicate professionally with families and clinical team
• Participate in ongoing BCBA supervision and training
• Stay active during sessions with movement and play
