Burnett Therapeutic Services, Inc. is seeking an entry-level RBT to work 1:1 with children who have autism or developmental delays in Elk Grove or Sacramento, in home or clinic settings.

This part-time role offers afternoon-evening hours (Mon-Fri 12-8pm), a $24–$25 hourly wage, mileage reimbursement, and ongoing training and supervision. Active RBT/ABAT/BCAT certification required; if not certified, complete a 40-hour RBT course before employment; must maintain active certification; high school

Qualificações

• Positive, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for working with children.
• 6 months of experience working or volunteering with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• Candidates with an RBT, ABAT, or BCAT certification.
• Preferred: Current student or recent graduate in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Sociology, Biology, or related field.
• Spanish-speaking is a plus!
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
• Reliability and a willingness to work with a variety of clients.
• Active RBT/ABAT/BCAT certification is required for this position.
• If you do not hold an ABA paraprofessional/BT certification or training, please apply to the Behavior Technician role.
• If you do not have an RBT/ABAT/OR BCAT certification, you must complete a 40-hour RBT training course prior to employment.
• Must maintain an active RBT/ABAT/BCAT as a requirement for continued employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• This job requires reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• This job requires a CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain during onboarding).
• This job requires a TB test (within 90 days), MMR & Varicella Immunization, and a Pre-employment Physical (within the past year).
• This job requires a background check (FBI & DOJ).

Responsabilidades

• Delivering one-on-one behavior support through fun, individualized activities.
• Implementing behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
• Collecting and recording data on client progress accurately.
• Communicating regularly with families to provide updates and support.
• Participating in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions.
