Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to deliver in-home care across Putnam County under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

The role focuses on compassionate, patient-centered visits that support a tailored plan of care and promote comfort and independence. You will guide exercises, gait and functional training, document progress, and educate patients and families on rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted PTA license to practice in the relevant state.
• CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification.
• Valid state-issued driver's license with reliable transportation; willingness to travel.
• One year of professional PTA experience in home health or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home visits based on the plan of care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Instruct and aid patients in exercises, gait, ADL, transfers, safety, and prosthetic training.
• Observe and report patient response to treatment and changes in condition to the supervising provider.
• Educate patients and families on participation and rehabilitation strategies.
