In Home Rehab of Florida is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Broward County team and provide one-on-one home-based therapy. This role offers flexible hours, steady opportunities through multiple agency contracts, and a supportive team dedicated to high-quality patient care.

Enjoy autonomy with home visits, while leveraging our systems to manage documentation and collaboration with supervising therapists and office staff.

Qualifications

• Active Florida PTA license in good standing.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• Home health or geriatric experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
• Ability to treat patients independently in the home setting.
• Ability to complete documentation accurately and on time.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients in their homes throughout Broward County.
• Provide creative, individualized treatment sessions based on the plan of care.
• Assist patients with improving strength, balance, mobility, safety, and independence.
• Engage family members and caregivers as needed.
• Provide patient education, home exercise program instruction, and DME recommendations when appropriate.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation through EMR.
• Maintain frequent communication with the supervising therapist and office team.
• Follow Medicare and home health documentation guidelines.
