Job summary

You will implement treatment plans under a licensed PT, guide patients through exercises, monitor progress, and educate families, with a supportive team and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland PTA license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Previous home health or outpatient PT experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home visits in the Bel Air, MD area.
• Strong knowledge of rehabilitative techniques, therapeutic exercise, and patient safety.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach with a commitment to quality care.

Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Provide in-home therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility assistance.
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes in condition to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and family members on home exercise programs and safety techniques.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote independence and recovery.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with home health regulations.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary home health team members to ensure continuity of care.
