Job summary

MDH-Network in Santa Fe Springs, CA is seeking a Program Instructor for a full-time, day-shift role. You will support individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities in home and community settings, following an Individual Service Plan and ensuring safety and engagement.

Responsibilities include participant assessment, documentation, coordination with families and care teams, and providing first aid as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; 18+ years old.
• At least 1 year of experience with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Valid California driver’s license and auto insurance for driving in the community.
• English reading/writing; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in initial and ongoing assessments of participants and coordinate with families and support networks.
• Document and report in a timely manner; communicate with stakeholders about treatment and training modifications.
• Provide first aid as needed and support participants in daily routines and activities.
