Job summary

PeaceHealth Sacred Hearts Home Health in Springfield, OR is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for a full-time, day-shift position. The salary range is $31.60–$47.40 per hour, and compensation depends on education, experience, and applicable agreements.

Work occurs in the patient’s home environment with collaboration across a multidisciplinary team. The role involves supervising therapy aides, mentoring students, and contributing to program development while delivering care aligned with plan

Qualifications

• Association Degree Required: Physical Therapy Assistant accredited by CAPTE.
• One year of inpatient experience; home health/geriatric experience preferred.
• BLS certification required; Oregon PTA license (temporary permit acceptable up to 3 months).

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed PT.
• Document accurately and timely per regulatory and professional standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Mentor therapy aides and supervise PTA students.
• Contribute to development of new services and quality improvement.
• Participate in staff meetings and caregiver education.
