Job summary

Memorial White Rose Home Health seeks a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to perform treatment and provide exercise instruction and education under a supervising Physical Therapist in home health settings.

The PTA will follow the plan of care, assist with exercises, monitor patient responses, and coordinate with the care team. Weekend rotation, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed PTA in the state of practice.
• Weekend rotation availability.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and supervising PT plan of care.
• Instruct patients in active and passive exercises and gait training.
• Observe and report patient responses to treatment to the supervising PT and care team.
• Educate patient, family, and other care team members on therapy approaches.
• Provide care in home settings with respect to all patients’ backgrounds.
