Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week assignment in Laureldale, Pennsylvania. The PTA will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans, guide patients through exercises, and document progress while collaborating with a healthcare team.

Qualified candidates must hold a valid PTA license and current BLS certification; new grads are welcome.

Qualifications

• Requires valid Physical Therapy Assistant license
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans to improve mobility and functional independence.
• Provide hands-on assistance with therapeutic exercises, modalities, and activities of daily living.
• Document patient progress in medical records and educate patients on home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to support recovery and quality of life.
• Set up equipment and treatment areas, ensure cleanliness and calibration.
• Assist with discharge planning and transfers as needed.
