• Optimizes patients' abilities by evaluating and treating appropriate cases under physician orders.
• Establishes patient schedules and develops treatment plans with goals.
• Coordinates treatment with patient, family and team; documents progress.
• Develops home programs and participates in discharge planning; trains family.
• Refer s patients to PTAs and supervises PTA implementation of plans.
• Reviews quality and effectiveness of PT services using set criteria.
• Educates patients, families, and staff; participates in meetings and trainings.
• Submits billing, payroll, and expenses accurately.
• Complies with infection control and OSHA standards and maintains confidentiality.
• Demonstrates sound judgment in evaluation and follow-up of therapy.
