Select Physical Therapy in Santee, CA is seeking an experienced physical therapist for an in-home outpatient role, treating post-operative patients and owning your schedule and outcomes.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of PT experience, is licensed in the state, and can work independently with strong clinical judgment. Travel between clinics and patient homes is required; comprehensive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Licensed physical therapist in the state of employment.
• Minimum two years of experience as a physical therapist.
• Automobile liability insurance and current unrestricted driver’s license.
• CPR certification or complete training required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates the home environment for rehab and makes appropriate recommendations to increase independence.
• Develop, prepare, and maintain individualized client care progress records with accuracy and timeliness.
• Supervise physical therapy assistants by directing, participating in, and presenting continuing education programs; assume supervisory responsibilities as needed.
• Educate client/caregiver and health care teams in phases of physical therapy and use of prosthetic and orthotic devices and durable medical equipment.
• Provide in-home PT care to patients with injuries, muscle, nerve, joint, and bone disorders to restore function and relieve pain.

Compensation: $86K-$99K/year (based on experience)

• In-Home Staff Physical Therapist evaluates, plans, and administers physical therapy treatment for patients suffering from injuries, muscle, nerve, joint, and bone disorders or diagnoses to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability.
• Travel is required to different home care settings, between clinics, doctor’s offices, and to patient’s homes.
