San Diego Sports Medicine and Family Health Center is seeking a dedicated full-time Physical Therapist to join our outpatient clinic. You will develop and implement personalized care plans to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance patients’ quality of life.

This role requires collaboration with physicians and health professionals, documentation in EMR systems, patient education, and commitment to evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
Valid state credentialing/licensure in physical therapy.
Strong outpatient orthopedic skills.

Responsibilities

Assess patients’ physical conditions through detailed evaluations.
Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to patient needs.
Provide hands-on therapy sessions focusing on restoring movement and reducing pain.

Pay is negotiable based on experience.

Duties

Assess patients’ physical conditions through detailed evaluations, including mobility, strength, and functional ability.
Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to patient needs.
Provide hands‑on therapy sessions focusing on restoring movement, reducing pain, and improving patient independence.
Document patient progress accurately using EMR systems and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Educate patients on injury prevention, exercises, and home care strategies.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize treatment outcomes.
Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with advances in physiotherapy, medical terminology, and treatment techniques.

Skills
