Job summary

GYMGUYZ NJ is seeking a Certified Personal Trainer to deliver one-on-one fitness instruction to clients in NJ, focusing on personalized programs and excellent customer service. Part-time to full-time role with opportunities for advancement and a flexible schedule.

You will train clients at their homes or other locations using our app and scheduling tools, maintain notes, reassess progress every 4–6 weeks, and contribute to a team that values integrity, respect, and results.

Qualifications

• Certified Personal Trainer (NCCA or DEAC accredited organization).
• Minimum High school diploma or GED equivalent. Advanced education preferred.
• All experience levels welcome to apply.
• Good communication skills; verbal, written, and technical.
• Have a basic understanding of nutrition and healthy living practices.
• Knowledgeable of a variety of exercise equipment and personal training methods.
• Clean Driver’s License/driving record.
• Certified in CPR/AED.
• Able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. and perform athletic calisthenics duties.

Responsibilities

• Follow the workout program developed from the initial assessment
• Choose customized exercises that provide optimum results per the client’s needs
• Demonstrate each exercise and ensure the client is performing correctly with or without modifications
• Document and plan your sessions in our GYMGUYZ App
• Complete session notes after each client training session
• Conduct client reassessments every 4 – 6 weeks
• Maintain client sessions through GYMGUYZ scheduling software
• Able to provide a flexible schedule to accommodate client appointments
