Job summary

GYMGUYZ, located in Paramus, New Jersey, is looking for Certified Personal Trainers to provide personalized fitness instruction. You will encourage clients to reach their fitness goals while maintaining the highest level of customer service.

Qualifications

• Certified Personal Trainer (NCCA or DEAC accredited organization).
• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent, advanced education preferred.
• Good communication skills; verbal, written, and technical.
• Basic understanding of nutrition and healthy living practices.
• Knowledgeable of a variety of exercise equipment and personal training methods.
• Clean driver's license / driving record.
• Certified in CPR/AED.
• Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Follow the workout program developed from the initial assessment.
• Choose customized exercises that provide optimum results per the client’s needs.
• Demonstrate each exercise and ensure the client is performing correctly.
• Document and plan your sessions in the GYMGUYZ App.
• Conduct client reassessments every 4 – 6 weeks.
• Maintain client sessions through scheduling software.
