Job summary

GYMGUYZ is seeking a Certified Personal Trainer to deliver one-on-one and small group fitness instruction in clients' homes or offices. Training may occur in clients' homes or at convenient locations, generally within 30 minutes travel.

Qualifications

• Certified Personal Trainer (NCCA, DEAC, or NBFE accredited organization).
• Certified in CPR/AED.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1 year of personal training.
• Good communication skills; verbal, written, and technical.
• Basic understanding of nutrition and healthy living practices.
• Knowledge of a variety of exercise equipment and training methods.
• Clean Driver’s License.
• Able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. and perform athletic calisthenics duties.

Responsibilities

• Customize client workout programs from initial assessment.
• Use the GYMGUYZ Fitness App for all sessions, including programming and notes.
• Demonstrate exercises and ensure correct form with modifications.
• Conduct client reassessments every 4–6 weeks.
• Maintain client session appointments through scheduling software.
• Collect and secure payments from clients as needed.
• Provide a flexible schedule to accommodate client appointments.
• Commute to and from client sessions.
