Apploi is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home personal care for individuals in their own homes and communities. The role includes helping with daily living activities, meal preparation, housekeeping, transportation, and companionship, delivered in a respectful, client-centered manner following agency policies and care plans.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with the activities of daily living and personal care including: ambulation
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming
• Assist with exercise, feeding, hair care, medication reminders, mouth care, nail care
• Positioning, shaving, skin care, toileting, transferring
• Ensure client's safety and security by supervising the home environment
• Teach/perform meal planning and preparation, routine housekeeping activities (beds, dusting, vacuuming, floors, kitchen and bathroom, laundry)
• Provide companionship including social interactions, conversations, emotional reassurance, and encouragement of activities that stimulate the mind
• Provide respite care for families per care plans
• Perform/assist with essential shopping/errands, may handle client's money per care plan under Branch Manager observation
• Assist clients with following a written, special diet plan and reinforcement of diet maintenance as identified on the care plan
• Escort clients to medical facilities, errands, shopping, and outings as specified in the care plan
• Assist clients with communication by writing or typing correspondence
• Participate with Client Care Team by providing input and making suggestions
• Ensure service is delivered per relevant policies, procedures, and practices
• Monitor supplies and resources
• Follow the written care plan
• Carry out duties as assigned by the Branch Manager
• Observe clients and their environments and report unsafe conditions to Branch Manager
