Job summary

Connect Pediatrics in the Irving, TX area is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team for in-home pediatric care. You will collaborate with families and a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered treatment.

Responsibilities include evaluations, developing and implementing therapy plans, documenting progress, and communicating with families.

Qualifications

• Valid, active Occupational Therapy license in Texas or valid Texas Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in Texas.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive pediatric evaluations using standardized tests.
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physician orders (OT or COTA as applicable).
• Provide in-home therapy services for pediatric patients.
• Engage with families, providing regular updates on goals and progress.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create holistic treatment plans.
• Maintain thorough documentation reflecting care and plan changes.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress and strategies.
