Connect Pediatrics is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in the Garland/Addison area. You will provide in-home therapy, assess pediatric needs, and collaborate with families and a multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated care.

The role emphasizes building lasting relationships with patients and families, flexible scheduling, and one-on-one training and mentoring support within a supportive work culture.

Qualifications

• Valid, active Texas OT license or COTA certification.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Reliable transportation and vehicle insurance.
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive pediatric evaluations using standardized tests (OT or COTA).
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physician orders (OT only).
• Provide in-home therapy for pediatric patients with diverse diagnoses.
• Engage families with regular updates on goals and progress.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to create holistic plans.
• Maintain thorough documentation and communicate changes to the care team.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress and refine strategies.
