Job summary

Includ(Ed) is expanding its field therapy team in San Diego, seeking an Early Intervention Occupational Therapist to work with infants and toddlers in home settings. The role involves delivering therapy, developing plans, and collaborating with families and professionals.

You will travel between campuses in San Diego, drive time paid, and work approximately 20-40 hours per week with flexibility in schedule.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• CA State licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience working with young children in educational or therapeutic settings.
• Knowledge of inclusive education and early childhood development best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with children, families, and a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct services to infants and toddlers to support motor, sensory, and cognitive development.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with parents and other professionals.
• Conduct home assessments and evaluations to identify therapeutic needs.
• Provide individualized treatment sessions to enhance functional abilities in home environments.
• Educate and train parents/caregivers on strategies to support development.
• Co-create and facilitate transdisciplinary curriculum with a team of therapists.
• Document assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports accurately.
• Communicate progress with parents/caregivers and involve them in goal setting.
• Collaborate with other professionals to support students and share best practices.
• Plan and lead community classes weekly.
