Job summary

Keystone Learning Services is seeking a Parent Educator to support families through home visits using the Parents as Teachers Born to Learn curriculum. You will travel within the assigned service area, deliver evidence-based child development information, and help families set goals and access community resources.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, documentation, group activities, and collaboration with school districts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least two years of supervised work experience with young children and/or parents.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (nonjudgmental, objective, reflective, empathetic).
• Ability to establish rapport with families from diverse backgrounds.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Familiarity with email, word processing, and web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver home visits year round, primarily in families' homes, using PAT curriculum.
• Manage assigned caseload and maintain up-to-date documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Plan and conduct monthly group activities.
• Administer approved screenings and connect families to community resources.
• Develop and maintain relationships with school districts and community partners.
• Participate in reflective supervision and required meetings.
• Complete professional development hours and PAT certification renewal.
