Job summary

Erie Family Center seeks a Parent Educator/Home Visitor to deliver Parent as Teachers services in Crawford County. You will conduct home visits, coach families, and connect them with resources, with a flexible schedule and some travel between counties.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of home-visiting experience, along with a valid PA driver’s license and background clearances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, social work, psychology, or a related field is preferred.
• Candidate must have 2 or more years of work experience supporting, collaborating, goal planning and documented home-visiting experience with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide home-based services to families living in Crawford County as part of the PAT program.
• Schedule visits, including occasional evenings and weekends, with a flexible work arrangement.
• Maintain required program documentation and reporting, and coordinate referrals with community resources.
• Attend trainings and supervision sessions as needed and travel between Erie County and Crawford County as required.
