Job summary

Erie Family Center is seeking a Parent Educator/Home Visitor to support families in Erie County, with travel to nearby counties as needed. The role focuses on personal visits, group connections, screenings, and connecting families with resources.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in a related field and 2+ years of home-visiting experience, plus clearances and a PA driver’s license. Flexible scheduling and travel within PA are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, social work, psychology, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of work experience with families and home-visiting.
• Must pass required clearances and have a valid PA driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching and one-on-one support to families.
• Partner with families to set agendas for personal visits and promote positive parenting.
• Facilitate group connections for parents to learn from each other.
• Conduct screenings to monitor child health and development and identify referrals.
• Connect families with community resources and services.
