Job summary

Periscope is seeking Independent Consultant Occupational or Physical Therapists to perform in-home medical necessity assessments nationwide. You will evaluate patients in their homes, provide equipment and care recommendations, and train patients on wearable devices.

Flexible scheduling as an independent contractor is offered, with benefits through our mentoring and training programs. Applicants must be licensed PT or OT with liability insurance and be able to travel to member homes, lift up to

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical or Occupational Therapist.
• Malpractice/Liability Insurance (may be purchased).
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, navigate stairs and varied home environments, and perform physical assessments.

Responsibilities

• Perform one-time comprehensive medical need assessments in a client’s home.
• Provide expert recommendations for equipment, service, and care to maintain independence.
• Provide one-time medical device training to patients with neuropathy.
• Complete documentation through secure online portal from any device.
• Participate in training to become a certified wearable device trainer.
